I’m doing a long weekend residential meditation retreat in a Buddhist temple down in Cumbria.
I’m very heavily into meditation now in order to learn how to focus my mind more on my healing.
The mind has no limits. Scientists tell us this. It is capable of many unexplainable feats. The placebo effect alone proves this time and time again.
So why should we limit ourselves with the opinions of doctors? Why limit yourself to the opinions of anyone? As the old saying goes: “The man who says it can’t be done should not interrupt the man doing it.”
I’m also doing hypnotherapy. I have a CD by Dr Steven Gurgevich called ALS healing. He is extremely good!!It’s got to be helpful.
Meditation by itself is extremely powerful.
Scientists are astonished at some of their research findings on it.

If we train our mind to be peaceful we can be happy all the time, even in adverse conditions. But if our mind is not peaceful, then even if we have the most pleasant external conditions we will not be happy. Therefore, it is important to train our mind through meditation. The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful.
If you ever find yourself with too much to cope with or think about. If you feel under pressure, meditation can be a huge help.
Meditation allows people relief from anything that is bothering their minds and it is possible to silence disturbing thoughts or your inner critic.
Meditation helps you to achieve inner calm and locate a sense of peace. With patience, you will often find viable solutions to the problems that are bothering you too.
Why not give it a go? I mean a proper go!! Learn it from an experienced person rather than a book. Even the #headspace app is extremely good. I highly recommend that.
